Dear Miss X,
January is almost gone.
When 2011 ended I had thought thoroughly of the many things I’d like to do and/or accomplish in 2012. Perhaps they are a shit load and I won’t be able to fulfil them all —I bet I’ll forget some—, but they are not New Year’s resolutions. I’ll let you know how all this jazz went down if we get to have a Merry 2012 Christmas. :)

Remember when we talked about the possibility of me becoming a nurse? You explained me that I could study to become a Registered Nurse or just a Practical Nurse, and that you knew of a school over there in your city that I could probably go to.
